Once you have created a blister pack is created, you can then begin importing or adding to add drugs to your patient’s medication profile. If you are yet to create a blister pack, click here for instructions.

There are 2 ways to add drugs to your patient profilespatient’s medication profile:

Follow the steps below steps on how to import drugs from your dispense systemsoftware.

  1. Select Patient a patientfrom the patient list screen.

  2. Select Click on the blister pack you wish to add this drug to, and select Add Drug.

    Alternatively, while on All Medications tab,

    simply

    select Add Drug

    - You can select which blister pack your drug is saved to in a later step.

    Import Drug is selected by default where you can tick the applicable drug that has been imported from your dispense system. A pop-up box will display the blister pack(s) available for you to choose to add the drug to.

  3. Import Drug tab is selected by default. A list of drugs dispensed for this patient in your dispense software will display.

  4. Select a drug you wish to import. Use the search field, if required.

  5. Select Click Add to proceed.

  6. Complete the required fields to add this drug to your patient profile.

  7. Select Add to save OR Add & New to begin adding add the next drug.

  1. Directions: If you have imported this drug from your dispense systemsoftware, the directions entered in the prescription will also be imported here. You can edit the direction as required.

  2. Dose: Enter the doses according to in the appropriate mealtime.

  3. Start Date: The This date will be set to the date the drug is added is set by default however you . You can select a different date as required.

  4. End Date: Select the tick box if you wish to set an end date to for this drug.

  5. Frequency: Select the different frequency options Daily is selected by default. You can choose a more suitable frequency from the drop-down box.

  6. Status: Select from Assign drug as Packed, Non-Packed, Packed PRN and Non-Packed PRN accordingly.

  7. Admin: Oral is selected by default however you can change the administration route as required. You can choose a more suitable administration route from the drop-down box.

  8. Pack: If you have imported this drug whilst selecting All Medications tab, you can select which pack you wish this drug to be added You can choose another pack to add this drug to.

  9. Packing Notes: You can enter internal reminders to be displayed Enter notes to display on screen during Guided Fill Packing.

  10. Same As: Brands entered here can be selected to be displayed on the pack in Patient Group → Pack Options.

  11. Pack Dose As: Select from the list Standard is selected by default. You can select an appropriate category if you wish to flag your drugs to be packed as one of these categoriesseparately under the selected category.

  12. Final confirmationConfirmation:

    1. Cancel - will cancel Cancel your operation action and exit screen. Your work will not be saved.

    2. Add & New - Save this drug and be directed go to Import & Add New Drug screen to add the next drug.

    3. Add - Save this drug and be directed back return to Patient Medication Profile screen.

2. Manually Add Drugs

Follow the steps below steps on how to add drugs manually to patient medication profile.

  1. Select Patient elect a patientfrom the patient list screen.

  2. Select Click on the blister pack you wish to add this drug to, and select Add Drug.

    OR whilst

    Alternatively, while on All Medications tab,

    simply

    select Add Drug

    - You can select which blister pack your drug is saved to in a later step.

  3. Begin searching for the drug and select the applicable drug to add to your patient medication profile.

    1. Note: Import Drug will be selected by default. Toggle to Add Drug.

  4. Select Add.

    . A pop-up box will display the blister pack(s) available for you to choose to add the drug to.

  5. Select Add Drug tab

  6. To search a drug, type the drug name in the search box

  7. Select a drug you wish to add, and click Add to proceed.

  8. Complete the required fields to add this drug to your patient profile.

  9. Select Add to save OR Add & New to begin adding add the next drug.
