A Nursing Home must be created to link patients to in Dispense Works prior to using Dispense Tracker in myPak. The below shows you how to create a Nursing Home in Dispense Works, link patients to that Nursing Home then linking that Nursing Home to myPak for patients to be imported.

Instructions

Follow the following steps in Dispense Works Software:

Facility ID will be referenced within the patient’s details and myPak Software

Linking Patient to Nursing Home in Dispense Works

  1. Search and Select Patient

  2. [F8] to bring up Patient Details

  3. In DAA Facility, select Facility that has just been created from drop-down box

  4. Select Ward

  5. Select Save [Ctrl + S]

Link Dispense Works Nursing Home Code to myPak Dispense Code

  1. Select or Create Facility

  2. Enter Facility ID (see above) into Dispense Code field

Follow the following steps to ensure the facility has been linked correctly for patients to be imported

  1. Select Patients

  2. Select Import

  3. Select Facility (one you have just created)

  4. The code of the selected facility will appear bottom left and if (in Dispense) is displayed - it has been linked correctly. If (not in dispense), check the code entered in Facility Nursing Home code
