A Nursing Home must be created to link patients to in Z Dispense prior to using QScript and Dispense Tracker in myPak. The below shows you how to create a Nursing Home in FRED, link patients to that Nursing Home then linking that Nursing Home to myPak for patients to be imported.

Follow the following steps in Z Dispense Software:

Linking Patient to Nursing Home in Z Dispense

  1. Search and Select Patient

  2. [F8] to bring up Patient Details

  3. Select Accounts tab

  4. Enter in Code of facility created into facility field to bring up Facility Selection window

  5. Select Facility

  6. Select Save

Link Z Dispense Nursing Home Code to myPak Dispense Code

  1. Select or Create Facility

  2. Enter Nursing Home Code (See Above) into Dispense Code field

Follow the following steps to ensure the facility has been linked correctly for patients to be imported

  1. Select Patients

  2. Select Import

  3. Select Facility (one you have just created)

  4. The code of the selected facility will appear bottom left and if (in Dispense) is displayed – it has been linked correctly. If (not in dispense), check the code entered in Facility Nursing Home code.
