Barcode Management:

 📘 Instructions

Follow the steps below to assign and manage drug barcodes:

  1. Click on Barcode Management tab.

  2. Select Add.

  3. Scan the barcode on the pack in the box

  4. Click Save.

  5. To edit an existing barcode, click and highlight the barcode from the list.

  6. Scan the new barcode in the box, and click Save.

  7. To delete a barcode, click on the trash icon on the right.

You can search for drugs by Drug Code or Drug Name (brand name or generic name), and update drug details, where necessary.

Note

It is NOT recommended to delete any drug entries from the database. Please contact myPak Support Team, if you wish to do so.

  1. Click on a drug from the drug list.

  2. Select Edit to update relevant details.

  1. Alternate Name for Pack: Enter an alternative name to print on foils.

  2. Pack Size

  3. Cytotoxic: This will flag cytotoxic drugs in Patient Reports.

  4. Admin: Assign route of administration

  5. Authorised Drug: This is for Automation users to assign canister and manual drugs on their database. The respective flags will display on patient profiles with the canister or manual drug. This will assist with selecting the appropriate brands when adding new drugs to patient profiles, and completing brand swaps.

  6. Drug Group

  7. Description: You can update and/or enter drug description.
