If you have created your patient profiles manually, you’ll need to add blister pack before adding/importing drugs to the patient profile.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

Follow the steps on how to add a blister pack(s) to patient profile:

  1. Create patient profile manually, follow instructions here.

  2. To add a pack, click image-20240629-170655.png next to All Medications, and click Add Blister Pack.

    1. You can add as many packs as necessary to the patient profile.

  3. Complete the mandatory fields for the pack.

  4. Click Save.

  1. Label: Name of Blister Pack

  2. Type

    1. Consumables: Select from myPak - Solid, myPak - Perf, myPak - Trifold and Medico Pak.

    2. Frequency: Select from Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly (click for instructions on creating Fortnightly and Monthly packs).

    3. Dose: Multi-Dose.

  3. Status: Active is set by default. However, you can change the status to inactive, when necessary.

  4. Blister Size: Assign the size of blister required for this pack. This will display on screen during packing process.

  5. Handled by Automation: For Automation users. Set to No by default.

  6. Alert: Add an internal alert message to this pack to display in pack summary in patient medication profile.

  7. Warning Label: Select warning message to print on pack.

  8. Comment: Add comment to display in pack summary and print on pack.

  9. Headings: English is set by default. However, there is a selection of languages to chose from, and as well as the ability to customise meal headings to suit your patient.

The above pack details can be viewed in the Pack Summary in patient’s Medication Profile.

Now you are ready to begin adding drugs to your patient’s profile. Click herefor steps on how to Import & Add drugs to your patient profile.

To edit pack details, click Edit Pack, and to delete a pack, click Delete Pack.


Blister Pack Medication Limit

Each blister pack can have a maximum of 16 medications assigned to the same status (e.g., Packed) and category (e.g., Standard).

If you try to add a new medication to a blister pack that already contains more than 16 medications, a warning box will appear. You will have the option to:

  • Select another pack to add the medication to, if available.

  • Add a new blister pack.

Click Confirm to proceed.
