Following the following steps to generate a report to export the data onto the PPA portal to claim for Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander patients.

  1. Select PPA Claiming from the menu.

  2. Select IDAA Portal Claim Template tab.

  3. Select the date range to be claimed.

  4. All Facilities will be selected by default however you can select the applicable facilities to include in your export report.

  5. Select Search PPA Patients to display a list of IDAA Eligible PPA eligible patients with their Medicare number and date of service within your selected date range.

  6. Select Inactive Patients highlighted in red if you wish to include inactive/deceased patients in your claim for this period.

  7. Entries that are highlighted yellow indicates a pack that has been supplied 7 days of another pack. Select Remove Entry tick box to omit the entry from the claimAny services that has been supplied 7 days within another will be highlighted yellow. They have been auto selected to be excluded from your export report. If you wish to include them, deselect the tick box.

  8. Inactive patients will be highlighted in red. Select tick box Exclude Inactive Patients if you wish to exclude from your export report.

  9. Select Export to Excel to convert the data into an excel format saved to your Documents.

  10. Copy and paste the data from the excel sheet onto your PPA Portal for claiming.
