Add Patient to Facilities

Once facilities have been set up, patient profiles can now be manually created or imported from your dispense software

Patients highlighted in White on the patient list indicates they are Active. Other statuses includes Yellow = Paused and Red = Inactive/Deceased

Patient List

Features:

  1. Select Patient Management > Patients

  2. Search by first, surname or [start of surname] [start of first name]

  3. Filter to patients in selected facility

  4. Filter to patients who have changes that have not been checked

  5. Show Inactive Patients= Show/hide inactive patients

  6. Select headers to change sort order

  7. Last Change= last medication change

  8. Last Checked= last time profile was marked as checked

There are 2 options to enter a patient into myDoseAid software

Instructions

Option 1: Import Patient’s details from dispense software [RECOMMENDED]

  1. Select Patient Management > Patients > Import

  2. Select Facility (Nursing Home/Facility/Institution from dispense) you wish to assign the patient to

  3. Enter Patient Name (first or last name)

  4. Alternatively, select Search to list all patients that has been assigned to this facility in dispense. (Import new drugs is selected by default. Adds dispensed scripts to patient medication profile)

  5. Select patient(s) from the list to be imported (CTRL + select to highlight multiple patients) - not applicable for MINFOS pharmacies

  6. Select Imported Selected Patient(s)

  7. Select Close

 Option 2: Add a new patient manually [NOT RECOMMENDED]

  1. Select Patient Management > Patients > New

  2. Enter the Patient’s details by completing information fields in the 5 applicable tabs

  3. Select Save & Exit
