Patient Details Tab
This tab allows you to manage patient’s identification details.
Features:
Patient details (such as Name, Date of Birth, Facility and Gender) can be updated manually or by importing from dispense
Status Log: Logs of status and foil changes
Import Photo/Erase Photo: Add or delete patient photo. Photo can be imported for signing sheets, blister foils (Size Limit: 300KB)
Date Taken: Select date the photo was taken (defaults to today)
Import Document: Documents in form of PDF, Word/Excel can be imported to save to patient’s profile. Size limit: 50MB/file. Total limit for all files: 180MB
myDoseAid patient ID
Ward: Enter code supplied by DoseAid for DoseAid packing. On changing facility, ward must be updated to match ward from new facility
PPA DAA Funding: Select PPA status and reason for DAA Volume Report to submit for PPA claim
Note: Add notes to display in the Note column on the main Patient List page
Allergies: Enter drug/s or manual text. A warning will appear when any drug containing the same text is being added to patient’s medication profile
Suspend Packing From: Select date you wish to suspend packing from and to. Patients are automatically removed from orders if order range overlaps any date in suspend date range
Vision Impaired: Select this option to print a black background on white text to assist patients who are vision impaired
Check Profile: Visible when there are unchecked changes. Clicking Check Profile records date and user who check profile.
Patient Status:
Active= available for sachet and blister packing, visible on reports and signing sheets
Inactive (un-tick Active) = not visible on most screens/reports. All drugs will also be automatically ceased. It is advised you only make a patient inactive when you have ceased service for the patient. Patient highlighted red in patient list (if Show Inactive Patients is ticked)
In the instance where an inactive patient returns, select Active to activate patient again then recommence the relevant drugs
Paused = won’t show in sachet and blister packing. Keep Active ticked. This is applied to patients who you wish to temporarily pause packing. E.g. In Hospital, Social Leave. Patient highlighted yellow in patient list
Deceased = same as Inactive
