Release Notes September 2023

New Features

The new release brings improvements and enhancements based on feedback received from our customers. Details of some of the key changes are below:

New look for Dashboard

1. A schedule displaying activities for the day, week or month

You could now create a task, reminder or note to display on the Schedule. Additional functions, such as Repeat for reoccurring entries, colour coding, and marking entry as ‘Done’ on completion are also available.

QScript

This feature is used to send all required prescriptions to your dispense software to be queued for dispensing.

Two reports will generate once QScript is sent: QScript Report lists prescriptions with repeats (ii) QScript Report: Items not queued lists prescriptions with no repeats.

This function is currently only available with Z Dispense and Minfos.

Patient Management

1. No Known Allergy option in Allergies

A new tick box has been added to the Allergies section to allow you to confirm that a patient has No Known Allergy.

Once this tick box is selected, ‘No known allergy’ will print on the patient’s packs and patient reports.

2. Increase maximum number of medications allowed per Blister Pack to 16.

We have increased the maximum number of packed medications allowed per blister pack to 16 (previously set at 14).

When a new medication is added to a blister pack with >16 medications, a warning box will pop up. You will be prompted to either select another pack to add the medication to or create a new blister pack.

Pack Management

1. Barcode Scanning

You will now be able to scan pack barcodes in Pack Management.

This function is available in Packing, Distribution and All Open Jobs sections only.

This will allow you to select packs within the same batch for a patient for Packing or Distribution. The status for each pack will display for viewing.

2. Profile Update Alert

An alert will display in Pack Management to notify you of any profile updates that occurs between various stages of Pack Management.

This function is available in Checking and Distribution sections only.

  • In the Checking, an alert icon will display next to the job when a profile update has been identified between Packing and Checking stages. When you scan the pack barcode to proceed to, a pop-up alert will display and the affected drug highlighted in red.

  • In the Distribution, an alert icon will display next to the job when a profile update has been identified between Checking and Distribution stages. When you scan the pack barcode to proceed, a pop-up will display with an alert icon to notify you of the change. You can click on View Changes to view patient profile, where the affect drug will be highlighted in red.
