Scripts Prescriptions dispensed as owing will appear as blue an owing in your Dispense Software are given a blue Owing label in Dispense Tracker. There are 2 methods to manage owing scriptsprescriptions.

Select prescriptions with blue Owing label in Dispense Tracker and Import to update patient’s pill balance.

Reconciling Owing Scripts Scenario 1:
Reconciling owing scripts when date of script prescribing is within 7 days of original date of supply . E.g. Original date of supply is 2419th February March and date of script prescribing is 2620th February March.

Complete owing mark off in Dispense Software as normal.
No further action is required

Balance remains the same in Patient’s VPB.
Tracker, as Owing label will be removed.
No change to patient’s pill balance as prescription was previously imported.
Reconcile Owing Scripts Scenario 2:
Reconciling owing scripts when date of script prescribing is outside 7 days of original date of supply. E.g. Original date of supply : 24is 19th February March and date of script is 13th May – 3 months prescribing is 2nd April – 2 weeks later.

One entry will be labelled Cancelled (in pink) as it has been cancelled in your Dispense Software, and
One entry will be labelled New (in green), indicating the new script that was dispensed.
