Once you have completed packing, the balance will then be subtracted from the patient’s balance. The completed packs are then moved onto the Checking phase ready for the Pharmacist to check.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

Follow the below steps on how to check a pack.

  1. Select Pack Management from the Left Hand Menu.

  2. Select Checking tab.

  3. Use the following tools to narrow your search to select packs you wish to check.

    1. Search: Enter patient’s name to search for a specific patient.

    2. Date Created: Packs created in the last 14 days can be viewed by default. Change to last 30 days or all packs to extend your view.

    3. Pack Start Date: Enter the start date of pack.

    4. Pack Type: Select from myPak Solid/Perf or myPak Trifold.

  4. Select the applicable pack to begin checking.

  5. Pharmacist to use the visual aid to begin checking pack.

    1. Patient’s Medication Profile: Indicates the drugs and QTY are expected to be verified in the pack.

    2. Blister Matrix: Indicates the total number of pieces or items in each pottle. e.g. 0.5 tablet = 1 piece/item.

  6. Select Confirm Passed if pack has been packed correctly.


Pack Correction Required

If the Pharmacist identifies any packing errors that require correction, they can move the pack back to the Packing phase for the packing technician to amend.

📘 Instructions

Pharmacist selects the applicable pack to begin checking and identifies an error:

  1. On the drug that requires correction, select the red cross.

  2. Enter a correction comment if appliable then select Confirm.

  3. The drug will then be highlighted in red. When you hover your cursor over the row - a preview of your correction comment will be displayed.

    1. To edit or remove the correction comment, select the red cross again and select Delete or Confirm to remove or amend the correction comment.

  4. Select Correction Required → the pack will then move back to Packing phase for the packing technician to make amends.
