You have the flexibility to cease and recommence drugs according to Doctor’s orders.
Active Medications are listed under each category on the top of the medication profile.
Ceased drugs are highlighted in red and listed at the end of the medication profile under category Ceased.
Cease a drug

Follow the below steps on how to cease a drug from the medication profile.
Select the patient from your patient list.
On the medication profile, select the drug you wish to cease. This will direct you to the edit drug details page.
Select Cease Drug → Warning will appear seeking for confirmation. Select Cancel or Confirm.
An end date will now be applied to this drug → Today’s date.
Select Save.
Drug is now ceased → Green Confirmation banner will appear top right of your screen - confirming prescription has been updated successfully.
Ceased drug is now listed at the bottom of the medication profile highlighted in red.
Recommence a ceased drug

Follow the below steps on how to recommence a ceased drug from the medication profile.
Select the patient from your patient list.
On the medication profile, select the ceased drug you wish to recommence. This will direct you to the edit drug details page.
Select Recommence Drug → End Date will be removed and Start Date becomes the date you recommenced the drug. Change this date as required.
Select Save.
Drug has now recommenced → Green Confirmation banner will appear top right of your screen - confirming prescription has been updated successfully.
Drug is now active and will be part of your active drug list.
