Once a blister pack is created, you can then begin to add drugs to your patient’s medication profile. If you are yet to create a blister pack, click here for instructions.
There are 2 ways to add drugs to patient’s medication profile:
1. Import Drugs from Dispense Software

Follow the steps below on how to import drugs from your dispense software.
Select a patient from the patient list.
Click on the blister pack you wish to add this drug to, and select Add Drug.
Alternatively, while on All Medications tab, select Add Drug. A pop-up box will display the blister pack(s) available for you to choose to add the drug to.
Import Drug tab is selected by default. A list of drugs dispensed for this patient in your dispense software will display.
Select a drug you wish to import. Use the search field, if required.
Click Add to proceed.
Complete the required fields.
Select Add to save OR Add & New to add the next drug.
Directions: If you have imported this drug from your dispense software, the directions will imported here. You can edit the direction as required.
Dose: Enter the doses in the appropriate mealtime.
Start Date: This date will be set to the date the drug is added by default. You can select a different date as required.
End Date: Select the tick box if you wish to set an end date for this drug.
Frequency: Daily is selected by default. You can choose a more suitable frequency from the drop-down box. For more details on non-daily frequencies, click here.
Status: Assign drug as Packed, Non-Packed, Packed PRN and Non-Packed PRN accordingly.
Admin: Oral is selected by default. You can choose a more suitable administration route from the drop-down box.
Pack: You can choose another pack to add this drug to.
Packing Notes: Enter notes to display on screen during Guided Fill Packing.
Same As: Brands entered here can be selected to be displayed on the pack in Patient Group → Pack Options.
Pack Dose As: Standard is selected by default. You can select an appropriate category if you wish to flag your drugs to be packed separately under the selected category.
Confirmation:
Cancel - Cancel your action and exit screen. Your work will not be saved.
Add & New - Save this drug and go to Import & Add New Drug screen to add the next drug.
Add - Save this drug and return to Patient Medication Profile.
2. Manually Add Drugs

Follow the steps below to add drugs manually to patient medication profile.
elect a patient from the patient list.
Click on the blister pack you wish to add this drug to, and select Add Drug.
Alternatively, while on All Medications tab, select Add Drug. A pop-up box will display the blister pack(s) available for you to choose to add the drug to.Select Add Drug tab
To search a drug, type the drug name in the search box
Select a drug you wish to add, and click Add to proceed.
Complete the required fields.
Select Add to save OR Add & New to add the next drug.
