You have the flexibility to cease and recommence drugs that were previously ceased, according to Doctor’s doctor’s orders.

In patient’s medication profile,
Active drugs appears first, and are listed under each category on the top of the medication profiledrug statuses.
Ceased drugs are highlighted in red, and listed at the end of the appears last on the medication profile, under category Ceased.

Cease a drug

Follow the steps below steps on how to cease a drug from the medication profile.
Select the patientfrom your the patient list.
On From the medication profile, select the drug you wish to cease. This You will direct you be directed to the edit drug details page.
Select Cease Drug → Warning .
A pop-up warning will appear
for you to select Cancel or Confirm to proceed.
An end date will now be applied assigned to this drug → (i.e Today’s date).
Select Click Save. Drug This drug is now ceased → Green Confirmation banner will appear top right of your screen - confirming prescription has been updated successfully.
Ceased drug is now listed at the bottom of the medication profile highlighted in.
This drug will be removed from active drug list, and moved to Ceased section and highlighted red.

Recommence a ceased drug

Follow the steps below steps on how to recommence a ceased drug from the medication profile.
Select the patientfrom your the patient list.
On From the medication profile, select the ceased drug you wish to recommence. This You will direct you be directed to the edit drug details page.
Select Recommence Drug → .
End Date will be removed
Start Date
will update to the date you
recommence the drug
(i.e. Today’s date). You can change this date as required.
Select Click Save.
Drug has now recommenced → Green Confirmation banner will appear top right of your screen - confirming prescription has been updated successfully.
Drug is now active and will be part of yourThis drug is now active.
This drug will be removed from Ceased drug list, and will appear in the active drug list.
