Once you have created a blister pack, you can then begin importing or adding drugs to your patient’s medication profile. If you have yet to create a blister pack, click here to see how.

There are 2 ways on how you can add drugs to your patient profile:

1. Import Drugs from Dispense System

Follow the below steps on how to import drugs from your dispense system.

  1. Select Patient from patient list screen.

  2. Select the blister you wish to add this drug to and select Add Drug.

    1. OR whilst on All Medications tab, simply select Add Drug - You can select which blister pack your drug is saved to in a later step.

  3. Import Drug is selected by default where you can tick the applicable drug that has been imported from your dispense system. Use the search field if required.

  4. Select Add.

  5. Complete the required fields to add this drug to your patient profile.

  6. Select Add to save OR Add & New to begin adding the next drug.

  1. Directions: If you have imported this drug from your dispense system, the directions entered in the prescription will also be imported here. You can edit the direction as required.

  2. Dose: Enter the doses according to the mealtime

  3. Start Date: The date the drug is added is set by default however you can select a different date as required.

  4. End Date: Select the tick box if you wish to set an end date to this drug.

  5. Frequency: Select the different frequency options from the drop-down box.

  6. Status: Select from Packed, Non-Packed, Packed PRN and Non-Packed PRN.

  7. Admin: Oral is selected by default however you can change the administration route as required.

  8. Pack: If you have imported this drug whilst selecting All Medications tab, you can select which pack you wish this drug to be added to.

  9. Packing Notes: You can enter internal reminders to be displayed during Guided Packing.

  10. Same As: Brands entered here can be selected to be displayed on the pack in Patient GroupPack Options.

  11. Pack Dose As: Select from the list if you wish to flag your drugs to be packed as one of these categories.

  12. Final confirmation:

    1. Cancel - will cancel your operation and will not be saved.

    2. Add & New - Save this drug and be directed to Import & Add New Drug.

    3. Add - Save this drug and be directed back to Medication Profile screen.


2. Add Drugs Manually

Follow the below steps on how to add drugs manually.

  1. Select Patient from patient list screen.

  2. Select the blister you wish to add this drug to and select Add Drug.

    1. OR whilst on All Medications tab, simply select Add Drug - You can select which blister pack your drug is saved to in a later step.

  3. Begin searching for the drug and select the applicable drug to add to your patient medication profile.

    1. Note: Import Drug will be selected by default. Toggle to Add Drug.

  4. Select Add.

  5. Complete the required fields to add this drug to your patient profile.

  6. Select Add to save OR Add & New to begin adding the next drug.
