Once the selected scripts have been queued from myPak, it will then be sent to Fred ready to be dispensed using Fred’s Dot Dispense.
To activate Fred’s Dot Dispense, enter “. + Enter“ in the Patient Name or Repeat No. field. The QScript monitor will appear and pinned onto your screen until you close dot dispensing.

To use QScript with Fred Dispense, follow below the steps or alternatively click on the below link for a video.
Select “. + Enter” in the Patient Name or Repeat No. field. The QScript Monitor will appear and can be moved anywhere on your screen.
Recommend to move to bottom right hand corner of your screen to prevent it from obstructing information while you dispense.
Proceed with dispensing prescriptions.
Once completed dispensing a prescription, enter “. + Enter” will proceed you to the next script in the queue. The information regarding the existing script and the remaining queued scripts will be displayed on the QScript monitor.
In the instance where there are 0 repeats left, the patient’s details will appear on the Fred screen for you to decide how to proceed with this medication.
Once you have completed dispensing your scripts in the queue, select the X to close the QScript monitor.
Select Yes to clear the remaining queue and close QScript monitor or select No to minimise the QScript monitor and keep the remaining scripts left in the queue.
