QScript with Fred Dispense

Once the selected scripts have been queued from myPak, it will then be sent to Fred ready to be dispensed using Fred’s Dot Dispense.

Please note that the new QScript monitor will not automatically open your Fred Dispense. You will need to open Fred Dispense in order to commence dispensing.

  1. Once your scripts have been selected to be queued in myPak, select QScript to launch the QScript Monitor. You hare move the QScript monitor to be placed anywhere on your screen.

    1. Recommend to move to bottom right hand corner of your screen to prevent it from obstructing information while you dispense.

    2. Please note: If you have a large volume of scripts queued, you do not need to wait for all scripts to load. You can commence dispensing as it continues to load.

    3. The QScript Report will appear once all scripts have been loaded via the QScript Monitor.

  2. Open Fred Classic Dispense

  3. Select “. + Enter” in the Patient Name or Repeat No. field to commence dispensing from the queue.



  4. Proceed with dispensing prescriptions.

  5. Once completed dispensing a prescription, enter “. + Enter” will proceed you to the next script in the queue. The information regarding the existing script and the remaining queued scripts will be displayed on the QScript monitor.

  6. In the instance where there are 0 repeats left, the patient’s details will appear on the Fred screen for you to decide how to proceed with this prescription.

  7. Once you have completed dispensing your scripts in the queue, select the X to close the QScript monitor.

  8. Select Yes to clear the remaining queue and close QScript monitor or select No to minimise the QScript monitor and keep the remaining scripts left in the queue.
