FredNXT Nursing Homes set-up to link to myPak Dispense Tracker

A Facility must be created to link patients to in FredNXT prior to using Dispense Tracker in myPak. The below shows you how to create a Facility in FredNXT, link patients to that Facility then linking that Facility to myPak for patients to be imported.

Instructions

Follow the following steps in FredNXT Dispense Software:

  1. In the Activities Menu, select Administration

  2. Select Facilities then Add to add new facilities

  3. Complete the mandatory fields to create a Facility. The Fast Code will be referenced in myPak Dispense Code.

  4. Select Save

 

  1. Select or Create Facility

  2. Enter Fast Code (see above) into Code and Dispense Code field. Ensure the codes matches in both fields.

 

Follow the following steps to ensure the facility has been linked correctly for patients to be imported

  1. Select Patients

  2. Select Import

  3. Select Facility (one you have just created)

  4. The code of the selected Facility will appear bottom left and if (in Dispense) is displayed - it has been linked correctly. If (not in Dispense), check the code entered in Facility Dispense Code.

If your facility says (not in dispense), most likely your facility has not synced from FredNXT. You will need to wait approximately 1 hour until FredNXT has synced with myPak.
