To ensure we are aligned with PSA Guidelines, warnings and restrictions has been applied when adding Methotrexate to Patient Profiles. The warning is designed to inform you that you must select the frequency of Specific Days and only selecting ONE DAY of the week.
The following parameters has been implemented when adding Methotrexate:
Frequency: Specific Days will be selected by default.
All packing days of the week will be deselected and you can only select ONE day of the week.
Instructions
Follow the below steps on how to add Methotrexate to medication profile.
Select Patient from your Patient List.
Select the Blister you wish to add this drug to.
Select Add Drug.
Select drug from Import Drug if you have dispensed the prescription. Alternatively toggle to → Add Drug and search for your Methotrexate drug.
Select Add → to be directed to Add Drug page, then complete the mandatory fields.
Frequency of Specific Days is set by default. You can only select for this dose to be given ONE DAY EACH WEEK.
Further Cytotoxic Warnings to ensure no touch technique is used when handling this medication.
Select Add to save drug.
