IDAA Claim

Generate and export IDAA claim to submit through the PPA Portal for DAA services provided for Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander patients.

 Instructions

Follow the steps below to generate and export IDAA claim:

  1. From the left menu bar, select Reporting, and then select PPA Claim Reports.

  2. Click IDAA tab to display patients assigned as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander under PPA Funding criteria.

  3. All Patient Groups are selected by default. Use the Patient Group filter to generate claim for selected Patient Group(s).

  4. The previous month will be selected by default.

  5. Patients who meet all criteria for claiming will be automatically selected.

  6. Patients who do not meet the criteria will not be selected with the Reason for Exclusion provided. If you wish to include these patients in the claim, manually select the tick box next to their names.
    Reasons for exclusion include:

    1. DAA service supplied within 7 days of another.

    2. No Medicare/DVA card number → Enter Medicare/DVA number in Patient Details, and re-generate claim.

  7. Click Excel to export your data to an excel format, ready for submission on the PPA Portal. This file will save in Downloads.
