Release Notes 7.6

New Features

The 7.6 release brings improvements, and enhancements based on feedback received from our customers. Details of some of the key changes are below:


Profile Management

1. 30 Day Dispensing Flag

For patients who still wish for their scripts to be dispensed every 30 days, select tick box within Patient Profile → Patient Details tab Patient requests to have 30 day dispensing. This label will be displayed on script request reports alerting the prescribing Doctor.

2. Gender

We have added an additional blank space in the gender drop down box for those who identifies other than Male or Female. It can be saved as a blank entry or you can type the label in the text field.

3. Current VPB displayed in Patient Profile and Request Script Report

  • You can now view patient’s current virtual pill balance in the patient profile. Note this only applies to packed items.

  • You can also now view patient’s current virtual pill balance in the request script report area. You can also add the option to select drugs with VPB below e.g. 14 to be included on report.

    • Set the parameters in the options as shown below.

    • Then enter the parameters to search for patients and script list.

    • Click Select all to auto select scripts that meets your parameter settings.

 

4. CTG Flag

This feature is available with Fred Classic, Fred Dispense Plus and Z Dispense

Patients with CTG flagged in your dispense system will now be flagged Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander for PPA Funding.

5. Patient Usage

You can now view the total patient usage of drugs in the following places:

  1. Brand Swap

  2. Add Drugs to patient profile

Drugs displayed in selection list will now be sorted into usage order followed by drugs with no patient usage order will be sorted into alphabetical order.

6. Patient Reminder Notes

You can now enter up to 2 patient notes or reminders in Patient Details tab. Click here to see how to apply this feature.

This note/reminder can be displayed in the following 3 areas:

  • Patient List

  • Patient Profile

  • Pick-up/delivery manifest

7. Save Change Comment as an Image

Each time a change has been made, an optional feature appears allowing you to enter a comment to why a change has been made. We’ve improved this feature giving you the ability to save this comment as an image for future reference. Click here to see how to apply this feature.

 


New Print Options

1. Non-daily medication schedule

You can now print a medication schedule box for patients who are on medications other than the regular daily dose e.g. once a week, alternating days. Click here for further information on how to switch on this function.

This feature is available for myPak Solid and Perforated packs

2. Do Not Crush (DNC)

Medications that cannot be crushed will now display a sig (DNC) beside the medication name. Click here for further information on how to switch on this function.

This feature is available for myPak Solid, Perforation and Trifold

3. Cytotoxic Drug Caution/Warning

When a patient is prescribed a cytotoxic drug in their profile, it will auto populate the caution/warning label - CYTOTOXIC - Special handling and disposal required. This warning will also display on your foils.

 

4. Print Warnings

You can now choose to turn off or on the following print warnings. Click here to view how to apply this feature.

  1. No drug description

  2. Dates selected already has been printed/packed.


Automation

1. Option to prevent packing into negative VPB when using Print & Send to Alpaca

When sending packs to be packed by the Alpaca, you can now manage Patients with insufficient balance to pack for the required week/s. Refer to here for further information on how to use this function.

  • Setting can be found in Foil Options to not deduct VPB into negative.

  • A prompt will appear for you to select packs to remove from your file send to Alpaca.

2. Blister Orders

You can now search for a pack by patient’s name within the selected facility or scan patient barcode.


Reporting

1. Polypharmacy Report

You can now select either 5 or 9 to display patients on medications with equal or more than selected value.

2. Patient Reports - Print drugs by generic name

You can now print your patient reports with drugs in order of generic name first.


 

 

Facility Management

1. Dispense Code and Automation

Dispense Code for each facility will now be displayed in the 2nd column and if a facility is set to Automation will now display in 6th column.


Administration

1. myPak Preferred Drugs

myPak preferred drugs are those that have a canister calibration for the Alpaca Robot. They will be highlighted in grey.

  • These drugs will only be highlighted grey if they are not already highlighted green as canister drugs and yellow for manually packed drugs.

2. Doctors Email Address

A field has been added to record the Doctor’s email address. This email will be displayed on request script report.

 


Bug Fixes and Changes:

Changes

  1. When sending sachet orders, drugs marked as to be packed separate will no longer be included in the standard drug files.

    1. Click on the applicable Print Only categories (located under options) to send as a separate file.

  2. Automation Trifold Packs when sent as Print Only will no longer display the barcode on pack.

  3. Blister Orders/Order History: You can now reverse you packs for orders sent 42 days ago.

  4. Admin Default user login: This has now been locked and cannot be changed. This is so we can best support you when you have any issues with your login details.

  5. Drugs: Pack size field has now been added to drug card.

  6. Patient Profile: Once the drug has been saved to the patient’s profile, you are no longer able to edit the drug name field.

    1. Use Brand Swap to change brands.

    2. Cease and re-add new drug if new strength or new drug.

  7. Dispense Tracker - Unmapped Tab: When a facility is selected, it will display all patients in that facility that requires drugs to be mapped.

Fixes

  1. QScript: Drugs saved on inactive foils will no longer display to be queued.

  2. Similar Name Expert warning will now display on patient profiles correctly.

  3. Caution/Warning labels in Patient foils can be changed or saved as blank.

  4. Print & Send: Will not allow user to send multiple Print & Send files at the same time.
