MINFOS Nursing Homes set-up to link to myPak QScript and Dispense Tracker

Please note the following article has not be included in the Customer’s User Guide.

A Nursing Home must be created to link patients to in MINFOS prior to using QScript and Dispense Tracker in myPak. The below shows you how to create a Nursing Home in MINFOS, link patients to that Nursing home then linking that Nursing Home to myPak in order for patients to be imported.

Instructions

Follow the following steps in MINFOS Dispense Software:

  1. Select Maintenance tab

  2. Select 6. Nursing Homes from drop-down box

  3. Select Add

  4. Fill in Nursing Home/Group details:

  • Code

  • Name

  • RACF ID (only applicable if using NRMC)

  • Address, State, Post code

5. Select Okay

Assign Nursing Home to patient’s details in MINFOS

Follow the following steps in MINFOS Dispense Software:

  1. Search for patient in MINFOS

  2. Select [F3] to edit patient’s details

  3. Select Carer tab

  4. Select Nursing Home from Type of Carer drop-down box

  5. Tab in Nursing Home field to search and select the Nursing Home that has just been created

  6. Select Facility and then select OK

  7. Nursing Home code will now be populated in that field

Link MINFOS Nursing Home Code to myPak Dispense Code

  1. Select or Create Facility

  2. Enter Nursing Home Code (see above) into Dispense Code field

Follow the following steps to ensure the facility has been linked correctly for patients to be imported

  1. Select Patients

  2. Select Import

  3. Select Facility (one you have just created)

  4. The code of the selected Facility will appear bottom left and if (in Dispense) is displayed - it has been linked correctly. If (not in Dispense), check the code entered in Facility Dispense Code.
