FRED Classic Nursing Homes set-up to link to myPak QScript and Dispense Tracker

Please note the following article has not been included in the Customer’s User Guide.

A Nursing Home must be created to link patients to in FRED Classic prior to using QScript and Dispense Tracker in myPak. The below shows you how to create a Nursing Home in FRED, link patients to that Nursing Home then linking that Nursing Home to myPak for patients to be imported.

Instructions

Follow the following steps in FRED Dispense Software

  1. Select List

  2. Select Nursing Homes/Hospitals from drop-down box

  3. Select Add

  4. Fill in the group details

  5. Select Save

 

Fast Code will be referenced within the patient’s details and myPak Software

Linking Patient to Nursing Home in FRED

  1. Search and Select Patient

  2. [F8] to bring up Patient Details

  3. Select Extra Information

  4. Enter in Fast Code of facility created into N.Home/Hosp. field

  5. Select OK

Link FRED Nursing Home Code to myPak Dispensing Code

  1. Select or Create Facility

  2. Enter Nursing Home Code (See above) into Dispense Code field

Follow the following steps to ensure the facility has been linked correctly for patients to be imported

  1. Select Patients

  2. Select Import

  3. Select Facility (one you have just created)

  4. The code of the selected facility will appear bottom left and if (in dispense) is displayed - it has been linked correctly. If (not in dispense), check the code entered in Facility Nursing Home code
