Guided Fill Packing

Once your packs are printed, your jobs will move forward to the next phase - Packing, ready to be packed.

 Instructions

  1. Select Pack Management from the Left Hand Menu.

  2. Select Packing tab.

  3. Use the following tools to narrow your search to display packs for packing:

    1. Search bar: Scan pack barcode or enter patient’s name.

    2. Patient Group: Select the Patient Group you want to pack.

    3. Date Created: Packs created in the last 14 days will display by default. Change to last 30 days or All to view more.

    4. Pack Start Date: Chose the start date of the pack.

    5. Pack Type: Select from myPak Solid & Perf, myPak Trifold or Medico Pak.

  4. To commence packing, click on a row or tick boxes to select multiple packs. See below on how to pack multiple weeks.
    Alternatively, you can scan the pack barcode to display all packs for the patient, printed in the same print run.

  5. Scan the barcode of the first drug on the profile to pack. The corresponding will be highlighted in yellow.

  6. Proceed to pack the drug into the blister, using the blister display as a guide.

  7. Once you finish packing, scan the drug barcode again to confirm. The drug will now be highlighted in green.

     

  8. Repeat steps 5-7 until all drugs in the profile are packed.

  9. Once all drugs are packed, click on Complete Pack to subtract the QTY packed from the patient’s Virtual Pill Balance.

Ensure you select Complete Pack once you have finished packing to subtract the QTY packed from the Patient’s Virtual Pill Balance.


Packing Multiple Weeks

 Instructions

The packs must belong to the same patient and printed within the same print run. E.g. 4 weeks.

  1. Scan one of the pack barcodes for the patient
    or click on the tick boxes next to the patient’s name, select Pack to begin packing.

    1. All the selected pack rows must have the same Date Created with advance 7 days of Pack Start Date on each row.

       

    2. If you have selected packs that do not belong in the same print run, the pack button will remain inactive and you will not be able to proceed packing.

  2. Packing 2 weeks at a time will appear as below:

The blister display will guide you through packing for up to a total of 8 weeks at a time.
