Release Notes April 2024

New Features:

The new release brings improvements and enhancements based on feedback received from our customers. Details of some of the key changes are below.

Pack management

1. Delete packs without reversing balances

We have enhanced the delete packs feature, providing you with the option to either reverse the Virtual Pill Balance or proceed with deleting the pack without reversing the Virtual Pill Balance. Any packs that are deleted will be documented in the Pack Management report, accessible in Summary Reports section.

This improvement will offer you greater control and flexibility when managing your packs and patient’s virtual pill balance, while also ensuring comprehensive tracking of pack-related activities for reporting purposes.

This feature is available in Packing, Checking and Distribution

We have enhanced our checking feature to provide you with additional support during pack checks. Now, when you click on a timeslot on the display grid, a list of drugs will be displayed to indicate the drugs expected in that time slot. This enhancement aims to streamline and improve the accuracy of your checking process for your convenience.

4. Cytotoxic flag in Packing, Checking and Distribution

When packing cytotoxic drugs, it is important to remind the packing technician to ensure they use no touch technique when handling this medication. This helps minimise the risk of exposure and ensures safe handling throughout the packing process.

The flag is also displayed in Checking and Distribution.

Medication History

When using our Brand Swap feature to swap brands, we’ll automatically log the end date of the previous brand and the star date of the new one. This ensures comprehensive tracking and ensures smooth transitions between medication brands.

Virtual Pill Balance

We have made improvements to our historical log, ensuring the Pack Start Dates are arranged in chronological order when packing multiple weeks. This enhancement will make it easier to track and analyse patient virtual pill balance.

Dispense Tracker

We have made improvements to the unmapped tab. Now, it will only display packed items, removing any non-packed items. This enhancement streamlines the view, focusing solely on the items that require attention, making the process more efficient for you.

Brand Swap

We have made improvements to Brand Swap feature by displaying the Authorised flags of Canister or Manual in Step 2. This enhancement offers a clear indication of which brands you should swap to, enabling you to optimise your Robot packing operations effectively.
